Padasalai (meaning “school” or “learning place” in Tamil) is a registered, grassroots nonprofit organization dedicated to transforming the lives of marginalized communities through inclusive education, healthcare access, skill development, and environmental awareness. Founded in 2017, Padasalai operates across Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, and Karnataka, addressing the root causes of poverty and inequality.
We believe that every individual deserves a fair chance—to learn, grow, and lead a dignified life. Our interventions focus on children, women, youth, and persons with disabilities, equipping them with the tools to overcome socio-economic barriers and build sustainable futures.

Mr.MANOHAR: He is the Founder of the Organization. He has completed master degrees in Social Work and in Law. He has a number of experiences in the social work sector. At present he is a practicing advocate in Madras High Court, Chennai. He is associated with other NGOs as the legal advisor.
Mr. SUSAI RAJ: He is the Secretary of the Trust. he is working in a private educational institution as a Teaching Professor in the department of Social Work in Tamil Nadu. He has a number of experiences in procurement of valid social workers to meet the social needs.
Mrs. NISHANTHI JOYCE MANIGANDAN: She is the President of the Trust. He is working as a Nursing Supervisor in Health Care private hospital in Tamil Nadu. She has experience in health related projects and women animation for those health awareness project programs.
Mrs. RATHNA CHANDRAN: She is the Member Trustee of the Trust. She is working as the Anganwadi Child Care Centre in Tamil Nadu. She has number of field experiences and closely associated with child psychology and their developments. She also associated with the parent community of those little angels and organize awareness and precautious meetings.
LEGAL STATUS
PADASALAI IS REGISTERED UNDER THE INDIAN TRUSTS ACT, 1882 AND THE REGISTRATION NUMBER IS TN/05/2017/CHENGALPATTU. THE DATE OF REGISTRATION IS 20/01/2017. REGISTERED WITH NITI AAYOG GOVERNMENT OF INDIA, DARPAN UNIQUE ID IS TN/2017/0161986. 12A & 80G AND CSR1 CERTIFICATES ARE AVAILABLE.
